MCL has strong experience in insurance sector and it has enhanced the governance and capacity of Bangladesh Insurance Sector and provided support to the development of a sound and efficient insurance sector to help accelerate economic growth and poverty reduction. MCL has experience in capacity development of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA), actuarial evaluation, organizing and conducting training, workshops and study tours, drafting rules and regulations, evaluation of financial performance of state-owned insurance corporations i.e., Sadharan Bima Corporation (SBC), Jiban Bima Corporation (JBC) etc., and developing insurance and actuarial professional bodies. MCL also has experience in organizing workshop to improve risk mitigation and reduce the vulnerability of the poor and low-income households in Sri Lanka by facilitating them access to affordable life and general insurance products. We have project preparation experience for the Capital Market Development in Bangladesh. Our relevant works are mainly in Bangladesh funded by the ADB.
