MCL has implemented several water sectors projects which involved implementing, monitoring, supervising, designing, planning, and procurement. MCL developed optimisation plans and other recommendations for Dhaka Water Supply & Sewerage Authority (DWASA), after having worked in close collaboration with them. MCL provided the services of legal, regulatory and financial management technical assistance to DWASA and ADB. We have, established the monitorable water-poverty indicators, integrating National Watershed Management Plan (NWMP) and the Government’s national poverty reduction strategy in Bangladesh, operationalised the NWMP annual review process by means of an action plan to accelerate its implementation and prepared in advance the draft national water act. MCL provided assistance for developing the overall governance systems for implementing the National Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Support Programme in Lao PDR to be utilized by Water Resources & Environment Administration (WREA).
