MCL has worked extensively in the field of financial management, audit and accounting in various countries over the Asian region. The projects have involved direct assistance to respective governments and their relevant ministries. MCL provided technical assistance for the strengthening PFM to improve public financial management systems in developing procedures to implement the Public Finance Act (PFA) and capacity development. MCL has experience in strengthening the regulatory and supervisory framework for the financial sector, and drafting new financial services act.

MCL has also experienced in improving the institutional arrangements for macroeconomic and fiscal policy analyses, upgrade CGE modelling expertise, improve the SOE monitoring systems, develop efficient system for remitting overseas workers’ earnings, upgrade professional expertise in macroeconomics and fiscal policy analysis, improve access to ICT etc. MCL worked in Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Morocco, and Sri Lanka for ADB, WB, DFID etc.
